| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Each item has detailed sizing in the description, we recommend that you compare the measurements to a similar garment of your own. We accept card payments both online and by telephone just give us a call on 01832 273388. Paypal, cheques and postal orders are also accepted. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept online payment of Visa, Maestro, MasterCard and Paypal. We also accept cheque and postal orders made payable to Steven Allen Ltd. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online please contact us on 01832 273388. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. | Shipping And Handling Shipping is £3.50 for First Recorded Delivery within the UK. However we reserve the right to contact you regarding shipping if the package exceeds 1kg in weight. EU Shipping is £4.50, however we reserve the right to contact you regarding shipping if the package exceeds 1kg in weight. International Shipping is £7.50, however we reserve the right to contact you regarding shipping if the package exceeds 1kg in weight. |
| Delivery Schedule We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible. We will normally send your order to you in 3 business days excluding Sundays. International orders are generally received in under 7 days. We suggest allowing 10 working days before chasing your goods You must inform us within 5 working days of receipt of the goods if the goods are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. |
| Back Orders All items listed are vintage unless otherwise stated i.e Deadstock Vintage. Therefore if an item apears as Out of Stock we generally wont be able to get the exact same item again. We try to replienish popular stock with similar items in similar sizes. |

| Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days from the day you recieve your goods for a refund of the item cost. Any refund of postage cost is at our discretion. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid once the goods have been received back at the business. In addition to the EU Distance Selling Directive if you wish to return or exchange the item to us this must be done within 14 days of reciept of the goods. Any returns taking place outside the EU Distance Selling Directive will have the value of goods returned but not the postage cost. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. HOW TO RETURN THE ITEM We ask that you inform us either via email or telephone that you wish to return the goods. When you return the goods it is very important that you include the order number, your details and whether you want an exchange or refund. Without any of this information it will take much longer to process the returned items. Once we have recieved the goods back and logged them onto the system then we will process your refund. Any goods returned must be in a saleable condition and will be inspected on their return. These terms apply to your order. CHRISTMAS PRESENTS RETURNS We understand that at this time of year many items being perchased are for Christmas presents. We have therefore extended the returns date to Wednesday the 6th of January for items purchased with this intention. If you wish to return an item to us that was a Christmas present, please contact us the usual way via email or telephone to say that you would like to return by the 6th of January. Any returns notified or sent back to us after the 6th of January will not be eligable for a refund and an exchange will be upto management discretion. |
